My Digital Teaching Projects

The projects below were created for my Curriculum Integration of Technology class in UDC's teacher prep program.

In the course of my studies, I have learned how to use dozens of digital tools or how to use them better.

Digital storytelling assignment & reflection

The video above is my final reflection on my experience in my Curriculum Integration of Technology class at UDC presented as a digital story.

Below, The Great Depression: Tell a Story activity is an example of a digital story assignment for students in a U.S. History class using primary sources.

Project-Based Learning WebQuest: Should We Have the Right to Be Forgotten?
Operation Lethe

Operation: Lethe is a project-based learning WebQuest created for my Curriculum Integration of Technology class at UDC. It is a WebQuest for students to learn about the "right to be forgotten" which exists in the European Union. Students are asked to play the role of policy advisor to a member of the House of Representatives who is looking for an issue to help her get re-elected. Students working in small groups are asked to develop a position on the issue, draft talking points for the Representative, produce an issue ad supporting the position they've taken, and provide a brief reflection on the experience.

This is a review of Tiki-Toki Timeline Maker under the Triple E Framework for my Curriculum Integration of Technology class at UDC. (T.E.W.L.S. stands for the fictitious company named Teacher Evaluation of WebTool Sites.) My three colleagues in the secondary social studies concentration also reviewed timelines, and we combined them into 1 webpage.  Links below.

prezi welcome.png

This was my first project in my Curriculum Integration of Technology class at UDC. It is a an online, multimedia replacement for the introductory letter home at the beginning of the school year. Click above to view the YouTube video where I narrate navigating through the Prezi that is the background, going on camera to introduce myself. If preferred, the button below will take you to the Prezi with the introduction video embedded, but lacks the narration. â€‹
